We are in corporate housing for awhile while we close and get the house ready. Yesterday, a large raccoon wandered up to greet is and nearly walked in our door from this little wooded area right outside our apartment. Today, puppy enjoys his first walk there.
Thank goodness because it has been GROSS.
After a week of packing-induced hysteria, puppy finally finds his calm: family slumber party on the floor.
Mmm dessert @spouseX
Vegetables are delicious!
The movers are here and we have hunkered down in the nursery.
You know you’re moving when the bird chandelier comes down.
You know that day when you find out your whole home will be packed up a week from today and you haven’t started to organize for the next two months in limbo yet? Oh yeah. And your kid is sick, you are closing on a home, you’re moving eight hundred miles, you have one car to share between three people, and everything you need is over an hour away? And there is no family nearby? And there are eighty documents you need to get your hands on and a dozen things that need to be deinstalled in the house and you still need to clean out the bathroom and the last of the attic and you work full time? And you’re nursing and your supply suddenly drops from stress?
Yeah. That’s so fun.
